New look Residentclubber.co.uk website coming soon!

The original website (from 2001-2012), originally just a place to put my photos from nights out, was around before social media as we know it today, and so was designed primarily for desktops and never optimised for smartphones, which back then, were only just beginning to become more technologically internet capable.

After the website shuttered in 2012, the official Facebook page was the only place to see photos from the nights out. But flash-forward a few years later, and I wanted to bring back the website, over 20 years after I first got the idea for 'Residentclubber', with a more independent focus, something stand alone and less reliant on social media.

With a legacy of some great nights in the local nightlife scene, I'll be cracking open the Residentclubber.co.uk vault of the hundreds of photos taken over the years. 

Residentclubber was always about the photos from fun nights out, and with the forthcoming new and updated look, you'll be able to scroll an archive of photos from years gone by, as well as being able to keep up to date on all things Residentclubber; from our new Casa Discoteca pop up nights and my latest DJ mixes, to the latest news, features, merch and more.

From partying at some of the best clubs, bars and events in and around Birmingham, Leamington Spa and beyond, plus the odd jaunt over to Ibiza, and even our own Residentclubber party nights, prepare for a wave of nostalgia from nights and with friends that I'm sure will bring back a few memories of some very good times!

Residentclubber.co.uk presents Casa Discoteca: Saturday June 22 2024 at St Patrick's Irish Club, Leamington Spa

Residentclubber.co.uk's 'Casa Discoteca' pop up event is back for a night of good tunes and good vibes in the Upstairs Room at the St Patrick's Irish Club in Leamington Spa on Saturday June 22 2024.

Fresh from a successful pop up night at the Bishops' Tachbrook Sports & Social Club on May 11 (you can listen to the whole DJ set from the night on Mixcloud and Soundcloud), and with a brand new Casa Discoteca sound-system set up on the night, expect another night of the best in upfront house music and club classics with a DJ set from Andy B, and kicking things off, an exclusive piano and synth musical showcase from Justin C!

As always, it all comes down to this; No attitude, just damn fine tunes! A place full of good vibes where the music comes first and everything else follows second. Simple things. But they make all the difference!

The week ends, life begins, and the fun starts at 8pm, entry is free, so come on down and party!

A fun night at my Casa Discoteca DJ gig on Saturday night!

Had a top night DJing at my 'Casa Discoteca' pop up night at the Bishops Tachbrook Sports & Social Club on Saturday night! Brought a bit of the Ibiza vibe with the tunes I was playing and it looked like they were going down a treat as well, mostly anthems from days gone by!

I also recorded the set, which I'll be putting up on my Mixcloud, Soundcloud and Youtube channels this weekend.

Cheers for getting me in. Looking forward to the next DJ gig (wherever and whenever that'll be) already!

Residentclubber.co.uk is back with another 'Casa Discoteca' pop up event, this time at the Bishops Tachbrook Sports and Social Club in Bishops Tachbrook near Leamington Spa on Saturday May 11 2024.

The first 'Casa Discoteca' pop up night in the upstairs room at the St Patrick's Irish Club in March was a blast (you can listen to the full DJ set here), and expect more of the same good vibes with a night of the best in upfront and uplifting house music with disco, Ibiza and retro vibes with Residentclubber.co.uk founder Andy B behind the decks.

As always, it all comes down to this; No attitude, just damn fine tunes! A place full of good vibes where the music comes first and everything else follows second. Simple things. But they make all the difference!

Residentclubber.co.uk is back in town with a brand new pop up event, 'Casa Discoteca' in the upstairs room at the St Patrick's Irish Club in Leamington Spa on Saturday March 2 2024.

Originally born from a desire to contribute something different to the local nightlife, the Residentclubber.co.uk nights took off and ran from 2002-2007, with Andy B and a handful of excellent resident DJ's behind the decks warming up to the many top quality guest DJ's we were getting in from Birmingham and around the country.

Now back after decade long hiatus with a new pop up event, the first since 2011, expect a night of the best in upfront house music and a sprinkling of dance classics too with Residentclubber.co.uk founder Andy B behind the decks and a special electronica showcase from Justin C, who will be showcasing a few of his tunes!

It all comes down to this; No attitude, just damn fine tunes! A place full of good vibes where the music comes first and everything else follows second. Simple things. But they make all the difference!

Photo Flashback: Residentclubber Nights (2002-2008) - The DJ's

Back in the olden days, from 2002 until around 2008, I organised dance music nights in bars and clubs around Leamington Spa. 

Inspired after a trip to the superclub Godskitchen in Birmingham a year or so before, and disappointed there not being anything of its like, both musically or of a similar vibe more locally, I had a plan. Why not do something about it!

After clubbing in Birmingham for a couple of years, I had garnered a few DJ contacts in the clubs and across various clubbing messageboard forums and had plenty of takers for DJ's when I put the word out looking for DJ's to play.

The first Residentclubber Night, 'Trancefusion', launched at Pacific Rim (now the back room at House) in Leamington Spa in December 2002; a dance music night of trance and hard dance! It only lasted until July 2003, but the quality of mostly up and coming DJ's spinning on the decks was pretty high.

Over the next few years, the sound of the nights evolved from the harder dance music of melodic trance and techno, to a more funky house sound, which lead to more events in several bars around Leamington Spa, before culminating in a residency night in the top floor VIP room at the club Evolve (now Neon), which proved very popular!

The events were great fun to put on, some great nights, music and memories. I had learned a lot in putting the nights on and made some new friends and contacts along the way as well.

Photos from 2003, the first nights the Residentclubber camera (singular, as it was just me!) was out in Leamington Spa.
