Primarily starting out as a warm up DJ to his own events in July 2004, Andy soon gained valuable experience playing to different crowds at different venues.

Based in Warwick, Andy has DJ'd at quite a lot of the local bars in nearby Leamington Spa, as well as in the main room in two of the main local nightclubs; Evolve (now Neon) and Smack. He has also played out in Birmingham at The Cotton Club (formerly 52 Degrees North in the Arcadian Centre), and at Bureau in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

On February 20 2008, the first of his weekly Resident Grooves DJ mix podcasts debuted on Smoothtraxx.gr, and was broadcast every Wednesday for a couple of years, with select DJ mixes also appearing on US internet radio, on both East and West coasts!

After starting off spinning vinyl, then progressing to playing off CD’s at nights, around 2011 Andy took a break for a while. But since returning to the hobby he loves in 2022, Andy is now strictly a digital only DJ, with all his tunes in easy reach on his trusty USB drive!

Andy's DJ style ranges from deep, vocal, tech house music, influenced by funk, soul, disco, latin and jackin' beats, through to progressive & deep tech house and melodic trance & techno, keeping it upfront and uplifting, trying to bring a unique vibe to his sets, and leaning more towards the new and relatively unknown house tunes, but at the same time also playing familiar tunes but with maybe unfamiliar remixes, with a few classic tunes dropped in here and there, rather than playing what everybody else plays, after all, where's the fun in that!

His 'Resident Grooves' and 'Fusion' DJ mixes, which can be found on Youtube, Mixcloud and Soundcloud, reflect these styles, with both mixes often appearing in Mixcloud's Global DJ Charts! No fancy effects, just preferring to let the music do its thing and get the dancefloor moving!

DJ influences include Dave Lee, Miguel Migs, David Penn, Dennis Ferrer, Mark Knight, Fatboy Slim, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and tunes from record labels such as Defected, Toolroom, Déepalma, Anjunadeep, Armada and more have helped inspire and define Andy's sound!
